Our Clinical Leads provide administrative and clinical support for medical staff and supports operations by supervising clinic employees, managing staffing and schedules, and implementing all administrative systems. This position ensures all workflow processes are executed consistently and proficiently by all staff members daily to maintain a quality patient experience. Clinical Lead Responsibilities
Under supervision and guidance of the Area Manager, oversees day-to-day operations of, primarily, the clinical area and clinical staff members to ensure smooth and efficient execution of MD Now processes
Communicates job expectations and conducts individual and group coaching and training interventions for new and tenured clinic employees
Monitors staff and clinic performance and alerts Area Manager and/or appropriate departments on any challenges interfering with patient care
Assists clinic staff and Medical Provider in patient care such as triage and assessments, treatments, procedures, and discharging
Manages clinic budgets to regulate spending, payroll processes, and other clinic expenses
Creates, maintains, and flexes staff schedules based on clinic needs
Monitors and evaluates effectiveness of clinic operations through regular reviews of key performance metrics
Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization working effectively as a team member with other members of management and the clinic staff
Follows appropriate processes when disciplinary action is necessary for employee-related issues
Travel required throughout clinics, as required
Clinical Lead Qualifications
Certification from an accredited clinical-based program (e.g., certified medical assistant, radiologic technologist, basic x-ray machine operator, or paramedic) is required. MA diploma programs do not qualify.
At least 1-2 years of medical office/healthcare experience
At least 3-5 years of prior management experience, particularly in the healthcare industry
At least 2 years of experience and expertise with Microsoft Office (Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel)
Valid Florida Driver’s License is required
Current BLS/CPR certification is required
Excellent communication skills with all levels and amongst team leaders
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or related field is preferred
Prior experience with eClinicalWorks electronic medical records (EMR) system is a plus
